Had booked a home visit. I went to the southend branch to get some ideas. Whist there I overheard one of these sales people talking to a customer. "you wouldn't go to a restaurant and say I like your table and chairs but can you cook my own steak" I wouldn't personally like a sales person to talk to me like that. I received an email confirming the site visit and asked was asked for some additional details. The reply I received contained the same level of sarcasm as the in store salesman displayed. I cancelled the visit. 2 stars as the store itself ok.
Staff at Southend Branch were very helpful, The cost of the carpet represented Good value and the carpets were fitted well and on time by very professional fitters.

I recently arranged for my parents who are in their 90s to have cushion floor installed through the hall and kitchen? This was after a home visit was arranged to price job up for Carpetright to fit?The day came? My sister had arranged for someone to be with my parents whilst the cushion floor was fitted given time of sometime between 9:30 and 13:30? No one had arrived between the times agreed to my sister phoned the local bra2at Rayleigh, they said that no appointment had been put in diary for the day agreed? No compensation was offered or given. Phoned head office and they said the same? If you unfortunately decide to use them get everything in writing? Or you will have the same problem we've had.
