Beautiful church obviously not wheel chair accessible but its so lovely just to sit and savour the peace and tranquility of the surroundings and the viewsThis church is hidden away up a narrow country lane but whether you walk up or roll as I do a lovely church and peace and tranquility await I cant recommend enough

A delightful little church -actually a Minster reputedly built by Canute in 1016 to commemorate the Battle of Assandun on this site on Oct !8th 1066. Earliest registers go back to 1564. The building is Grade ll* listed and commands lovely views over the Crouch Valley.The large churchyard is beautifully maintained.It is open to visitors in the afternoon. Well worth a visit!
